Playwright Sherry Y. Smith makes her solo stage debut in The Calypso Girl Tour, an original one woman play of stories that transcend her growing up in Calypso, NC to her current home in Los Angeles, CA.

The playwright explores the relationship with her father and how it shaped the 4 major loves in her life: Men, Money, Music, and Motorcycles. Her stories reveal snapshots of unconditional love, racism, the magic of fireflies at night, to iconic travels and life in L.A., the City of Angels.
