After having the blessed opportunity to do a pre-show in Valencia, Spain (in May, 2017) and then in North Carolina (in June, 2017), the dates have been set for the Los Angeles premiere of my one-woman show, The Calypso Girl Tour, at The Hudson Theatre in Hollywood.

Carnival in Trinidad
J’Ouvert (translated from French as “break of day”), symbolizes the start of the official two days of Carnival in Trinidad. Jouvay, as it is commonly known, features a variety of homemade or satirical costumes. Some participants even douse themselves in oil, mud and powder in stark contrast to the attractive and more formal costumes that are donned later in the day on Carnival Monday and on Tuesday.
